Grounds at Concord Redevelopment: Environmental Abatement, Demolition, and Site Work

DHG Wrecking completed the demolition of the former Phillip Morris manufacturing facility in Concord, North Carolina. Now known as "The Grounds at Concord", the plant totaled over 3.5 million square feet on 500 acres and took over a year to complete. The job required over 40 pieces of specialized equipment to safely perform work at high elevations, excavate deep basements, and crush concrete for reuse on site.DHG subcontracted DARI to provide the asbestos abatement.

D.H. Griffin Infrastructure will begin work this month to prepare the site for new development.
