Neyland Stadium Press Box Demolition: D.H. Griffin Completes Asbestos Removal and Structural Demolition Ahead of Schedule in 1996

D.H. Griffin was contracted to demolish the press boxes at the University of Tennessee's Neyland Stadium. These press boxes were cut into sections and lifted to the ground with a 300 ton crane in 39 lifts. In addition, DHG performed the removal of asbestos containing transite panels lining the walls of the 18,000 sf of press boxes. Contract was finished ahead of schedule. All aluminum and steel debris was recycled.
