Old Power Building Reduced To Rubble In Uptown Charlotte - February 2007
A large crowd gathered to witness the 7:30 a.m. demolition of the old Duke Power building. Wrecking crews loaded the building on the corner of Church and First streets with 400 pounds of explosives before the blast.
Atlanta Landmark Is No More - September 2006
A 12-story building that stood for almost 50 years collapsed Saturday morning in a matter of seconds. There was a series of loud explosions caused by about 250 pounds worth of a TNT derivitive as the building at North Avenue and Peachtree Street took 20 seconds to turn into clouds of smoke.
Pillowtex Chimneys Topple - August 2006
Two Kannapolis landmarks fell to the ground on Thursday, August 10. Around 9:09 a.m. the smoke stacks at the old Pillowtex factory, one labeled Cannon and the other labeled Fieldcrest, were demolished.

This award from the CAGC (Carolinas Associated General Contractors of America), honors companies who have lost time injury and illness rates between 75% to 99% below the national average.
