Project: Former Fieldcrest Cannon/Pillowtex Plant, Kannapolis, NC
Contracted by Atlantic American Properties Inc. to provide abatement and demolition of this six million sq ft, multiple building facility in Kannapolis, NC. Multi discipline project for D. H. Griffin Companies that included removal asbestos and other hazardous materials, salvage of old brick, timbers and wood for reuse, implosive and mechanical demolition, pond and landfill closures, screening and site grading, as well as infrastructure installation for new North Carolina Research Campus being developed on this site. Site work included site utilities, roadway curb and gutter, landscaping and electrical.
